Pergamum

Today we went to Pergamum, another one of the seven church locations, on a field trip. It was one of those mornings when I really just wanted to stay in the air-conditioning but… it’s history so you have to go.

The cable cars up to the top are a must. You really don’t want to hike up that hill.

Unless of course you are terrified of heights like Ruth and Molly.

Very hot and dry. Even flowers don't look too thrilled to be out.

Amazing views. A lot of the ancient cities from this area were built up on mountains.

Not much to say but we had a good day. We were very tired when we got home but it was worth the trip.

Tomorrow we’re going to try to go swim in the Aegean Sea!
