My brother Titus got married. Back in June. Daisy has been a lovely addition to our family. I must say all my brothers (and sister) have chosen well. Titus and Daisy are a happy-go-lucky couple. They are renting an Amish house for the first year of their marriage. You might call them low maintenance. Their wedding was very relaxed too. They got a group of their photographer friends to shoot the wedding. I was “in charge” of the reception details and was given liberty to shoot whatever else I saw.
It rained all day and the lighting was terrible but we managed to get some fun shots. Here are a few of the pictures I got from the day.
I don’t have any ceremony pictures since I was seated but it was very simple. They 4 of them in the bridal party. The bride, groom, best man, and maid of honor.
For seating at the reception they just had chairs in circles. You could make the circles bigger or smaller depending on the size of your group. They served sandwiches. It was very informal and you could move about whenever you wanted.
They had planned fun yard games for the guests but the rain interfered. The thing about the rain… it was perfect. It was a part of the day. The happy couple were expecting rain so they were prepared. It brought everyone together under the tents.
We managed to get some bride and groom shots
And one more from Lutography. We took this picture in about a minute. When the rain let up for a second we all dashed out from under the tent. She arranged us quickly. She snapped this gorgeous picture and we all dashed back to the tent. 🙂
