Kitchen Afters

I am finally getting around to taking pictures of the house after the renovations are done. There are still a few handrails missing and there is only two rooms with art on the walls but it might be forever if I wait until everything is done. I’ll start with the kitchen since it is my favorite.

For reference… that is the same window with new trim. The wall on the right is moved out about a foot and the ceiling is also higher.Kitchen

The doorway on the left and the steps down lead into what used to be a garage and is now the dining room.

After the demo was done… That window in the far back left is the kitchen window. The entire backside of the house was torn down to the foundation walls. The kitchen and dining room floors were leveled. That eliminated the two steps down from the kitchen to the garage/dining room.

It’s not perfect though. I’m currently without a functioning stove. I recently switched from propane to natural gas. My natural gas stove is currently unavailable. In the meantime I am using a toaster oven and hot plate. I also have mice in the house and I’m not sure how they are getting in, hence the towel at the basement door. 😦
